The price is competitive compared to the big box stores.
When I purchased my home, it had fluorescent under cabinet lights that were wired to a dimmer switch. This didn't work especially well (the fixtures didn't support dimming in the first place) and aside from the flickering, they ended up burning through bulbs that were hard to find replacements for. I ended up ripping them all out and shopping for a modern, LED-driven replacement. There are many on the market, but these are the best "bang-for-the-buck" in my opinion and have some flexible wiring options offered with an add-on junction box. I was able to replace the bad fixtures (there were a total of 7 of them) within a couple of hours, counting the time it took to secure the wiring. The result is much more consistent and brighter lighting, as well as the ability to dim them when I just want it for ambiance. They seem well-made and the mounting is a lot simpler compared to the fixtures they replaced. Couldn't be more pleased.
Needed an overhead light for my desk. Its a warmer light and not cooler which isnt an issue but if thats not your cup of tea, be warned!
