I love that these can be controlled with a smartphone. They change colors and make my backyard look amazing.
These are nice lights even when it is not dark. They are seriously heavy duty. They have some weight to them. They are easy to hang. Very secure, and yes they are shatter resistant. Trust me I dropped them while hanging a couple of times. They do not mind bad weather. The light is great. Patterns, colors. I am using Google assistant, with no issues. Set up quickly. The cord from the plug to the switch to the first light is short. Much shorter than I would have liked but still works. I had a ton of fun with these all night.
These lights are gorgeous! They are updated and I love their features. They are dimmable, weather resistant, linkable, color changing, and remote operated. They have a heavy duty power cord too. They are industrial worthy and have attachments in the cable above each light so they can be strung by wire or hung with individual hooks. These are awesome lights. You do pay a price for their uniqueness and quality. They are worth it.
Okay, so full disclosure, I really like these lights... I would give them 5 stars if it weren't for the length between the plug and the control box / first bulb being so darn short. If you don't have an outlet near by, you will need to run an extension cord for this string. Additionally, if you plan to use the button on the control box for controlling the lights, you will need to get a step ladder to reach it (if hung up high as I suspect most of us will do).
Now, on to what I do like:
- nice heavy duty cord
- bulb design - cool new modern design and heavy duty feeling plastic
- being able to use the Smart Life app with these - paired with no problem
- nice set of presets
- customization options
- brightness is on par with others in this category - wouldn't mind if they were a bit brighter though
Overall, these are really quite nice, high quality string lights.
