I installed these smart globe string lights to add some flexible lighting to an outdoor seating area, and theyve been a nice upgrade from standard plug-in string lights. Setup was straightforward using the Enbrighten app, and its important to note that pairing requires a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (I have dual-band so this wasn't an issue). Once connected, the app interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, even if youre not tech-savvy.The level of customization is great as you can choose from a wide range of colors, multicolor combinations, and several shades of white, along with preset and custom modes. A scheduling option is built in which is convenient. I don't use Alexa or Google home, but the lights are able to be controled through either app.The strand itself offers generous coverage. The total length is over 72 feet, including a long lead wire from the outlet and a short tail at the end, making it easier to position the lights exactly where you want them. The 6-inch globes are HUGE and evenly spaced to provide a soft, ambient glow rather than a spotlight effect. Mounting clips are included, which helped keep installation tidy and secure. These lights are rated for outdoor use and feel solid enough for year-round exposure. Everything is ETL safety certified, which adds peace of mind, especially when using them outdoors long-term. Overall, theyre a good option if you want decorative lighting with smart controls, flexible color options, and reliable performance for patios, decks, or indoor accent lighting. These were a great find!

These sphere outdoor string lights are great. Like, I didnt realize I cared this much about lighting until now great. They look awesome, work exactly as they should, and most importantly they dont make me fight them. The app is honestly better than expected. It does what it needs to do, and miracle of miracles it doesnt ask for 47 weird permissions like its trying to access my camera roll, contacts, and financial history just to change the color to blue. The connection between the app and the lights is also super fast. Tap a setting and the lights react almost instantly, which feels illegal considering how most smart devices operate. The included clips for holding the wires are interesting. Not bad, just different than I expected. Could I have done a better job hanging them? Absolutely. Did I? No. But thats not the lights fault thats me, living my best close enough life. The preset colors and patterns are already really good, but the customization is basically endless. If you want subtle warm glow? Done. If you want your backyard to look like a space portal opened near your patio furniture? Also done. There are limitless options. The orbs themselves are frosted plastic not glass but they feel sturdy and well made. Im not worried about them breaking from a normal life outside. The only thing Im mildly concerned about is sun fading over time since theyll be out there constantly. But honestly, if they hold up for multiple seasons, Ill call that a win and pretend I wasnt worried.Overall: easy setup, great app response, strong build, awesome lighting effects. These are a solid upgrade if you want your outdoor space to look fun and intentional instead of like you forgot to take down last years Christmas lights.

The Embrighten Outdoor Globe Lights are a surprisingly versatile string of lights great for decorating your yard, deck, balcony or even Christmas Tree. The Globes themselves are fairly lightweight frosted plastic material which do cast quite a bit of light. With this set you get 12 globes on 57 feet of wire, theyre spaced about 5 ft apart which is perfect. I thought at first it may not be enough to light an area but honestly any more would be overkill.Control: There are a lot of control options here. The main option is the Embrighten App, if youre familiar with the Phillips Hue or Govee ecosystems, the Embrighten App operates similar. You get a full slate of scheduling, on/off, animations, effects, etc. along with speed and dimming all controlled through the app. Youll need to connect the lights to 2.4ghz wifi for any of this to function but setup was fairly painless. You *can* control the lights without the app by using the pushbutton on the control box but youre very limited to what effects you have access to so I wouldnt recommend it. Once set with your preferred color palette and effects, you can control the lights with a wall switch connected to an outlet. The light string does remember its state so if you unplug it or switch it off, the lights will go back to their prior state when re-powered. The documentation says it can be controlled with Google Home or Alexa however to integrate with Apple Home youll need a Homebridge running somewhere.Color: Colors are bright and Vibrant, not harsh at all which is helped by the frosted globes that diffuse the light. When changing from color to color they softly dim then blend the new color, its not flashy at all like cheap christmas lights. The speed at which they change colors can be sped up pretty fast but it is still a smooth transition which looks really good in my opinion. They do dim but do not go very low. It was hard for me to tell the difference between full bright and full dim in the daytime. That being said they are fully viewable in broad daylight.Mounting: The wire connecting these seems pretty durable and could probably support the somewhat heavy weight of the full string of lights however the set comes with a set of mounting clips designed for the purpose. They can be hung on a screw/nail or if you have christmas light hooks those will work too. The clips lock the wire into placeDurability - All wire conections are waterproof and everything seems to be sealed pretty well. I couldnt see any markings for UV protection on the wire insulation so be careful in a full sun exposed installation. Other than that these should last a long time.Value - They are expensive, especially for 12 LED lights. That being said theyre priced in line with the aforementioned Hue and Govee offerings which are slightly more expensive. For a permanent installation light string that will save a lot of time over temporary installation they are probably worth the cost.

I recently upgraded my backyard patio lighting with the Enbrighten Vibe Sphere Outdoor String Lights, and let me tell you, they have completely transformed my outdoor space. At 57 feet long with 12 extra-large, 6-inch spheres, these lights are a statement piece, not just background ambiance. If youre looking to take your outdoor entertaining, holiday decorating, or gameday celebrations to the next level, this is the product you need.Heres my detailed breakdown of the features that make these lights a must-buy:The "Wow Factor" is RealFirst off, these bulbs are bigsix inches across! They command attention and provide substantial illumination. The sphere design offers a modern, sleek look that I much prefer over traditional Edison-style bulbs. But the real magic is the RGBWIC technology. That "IC" stands for Independent Control, meaning each bulb can display a different color simultaneously. This allows for incredible, dynamic light shows and effects.Gameday Perfection: This was a major selling point for me. I can easily program the lights via the app to match my favorite team's colors (Go Gators!). The ability to have alternating orange and blue spheres is fantastic for watch parties.Holiday Cheer: For Halloween, I have alternating purple and green lights with a subtle flicker effect. For Christmas, I can do classic red and green. The possibilities are truly endless and make decorating a breeze without having to buy separate strands of lights for every occasion.Everyday Ambiance: When I just want to relax, the warm white setting is beautiful, providing a cozy, inviting glow thats perfect for a casual evening outside.Smart Connectivity That Actually WorksI was a little skeptical about yet another smart device, but the Enbrighten App (and my existing smart home setup) handled this flawlessly.Easy Setup: The lights connected to my Wi-Fi network and the app within minutes.Intuitive Control: The app is incredibly user-friendly. You can choose from a vast spectrum of colors, adjust brightness, set timers, and select various pre-programmed effects (like chasing, fading, or twinkling).Voice Control: They work seamlessly with both Alexa and Google Home. I can now simply say, "Alexa, set the patio lights to party mode," and the backyard instantly comes alive. The convenience is unbeatable.Built to Last (Waterproof and Durable)Since these are outdoor lights in Florida, durability is non-negotiable. These lights feel robust and well-made.Waterproof: The commercial-grade, heavy-duty cord and durable acrylic bulbs are clearly designed to withstand the elements. We've had a few heavy rainstorms since I installed them, and they haven't skipped a beat.Shatterproof Bulbs: Unlike fragile glass, these acrylic spheres are shatterproof. I don't have to worry about them breaking if they knock against something during a windy day or if someone accidentally bumps into them.A Few Minor PointsInstallation Can Be Tricky: The 57-foot length is great, but managing such a long, heavy-duty cord and the large bulbs requires a little patience and a sturdy hanging system (hooks, guide wire, etc.). Its a two-person job to get them hung just right.Brightness: They are bright! When you have them on full white at max brightness, they can light up a large area. This is great for parties but youll want to utilize the dimming feature for a more relaxed setting.Final Thoughts: 5 Stars! The Enbrighten Vibe Sphere String Lights are a premium product that justifies the investment. They are more than just lights; they are an entertainment system for your backyard. The combination of the extra-large spheres, the vibrant RGBWIC technology, and the seamless smart integration makes them a standout product. They add personality, ambiance, and fun to any occasion. If you love hosting or just want to make your outdoor space more enjoyable, these lights are an absolute winner. Highly recommended!

These are beautiful sphere lights to enhance any outdoor space. They are just the right size and weight to hang on a deck or patio. With twelve spheres, you should be able to create a beautiful scene and also get enough light. Unfortunately, if you have a larger area, these lights cannot be chained together (the only drawback really). The power adopter does how a controller button which enables you to rotate through a couple of light scenes and colors. But, you will get much better controls with the Enbrighten up, giving you tens of preset scenes, as well as allowing you to program your.Controls include hundreds of colors,.brightness levels, flashing, and timing. Therefore, the options are pretty much limitless. While I don't like having to install different apps for different manufacturer light chains, I do understand why this is sometimes needed given the versatility. Yet, I wish had least basic controls would be provided by common voice assistants on the market. The box I received did not include the 12 mounting clips it was supposed to. I have reached out to Embrighten (Jasco) and hope to receive an answer after the holidays. But, I can also work around not having the clips when hanging them.No user manual was provided, but all documentation is available through the app and web.Given the complexity of these spheres, there are no user serviceable parts or replacement LEDs available in case a sphere should no longer function.Enbrighten does have a variety of light options available, so you can match these with other lights as well and control through a single app. These are definitely the most beautiful sphere lightchains and easiest to control, and well worth considering.
